Arizona DUI license suspensions run on two tracks: administrative (MVD) and court-ordered (after conviction).
The administrative (MVD) suspension
Begins when you fail or refuse a breath test — 90 days for a failed test, one year for a refusal. The administrative suspension can sometimes be defeated at the MVD hearing if you request it within 30 days of the Notice of Suspension.
The 30-day MVD hearing clock
Under A.R.S. § 28-1385(G)(2)(c), you have 30 days from the date of service of the Admin Per Se / Implied Consent Affidavit to request an Administrative Per Se hearing. Many older third-party Arizona websites still cite 15 days — that is outdated.
Court-ordered suspension
Court-ordered suspension stacks on top of any administrative suspension after conviction. Length depends on the charge (regular, extreme, super extreme, aggravated).

If this is your situation, time matters.
The MVD 30-day clock and the suppression-motion window run from the date of the stop — not the date you find a lawyer. Call 480 · 945 · 7684 or schedule a consultation.
